PHASE 6 : Construction Administration (CA)

During construction, we ensure the project aligns with the design intent. Our services include:

Construction Documentation  (CD)

PHASE 5 -Construction Documentation  (CD)- 

SY Studio Architecture Inc. provides construction-ready documents to ensure all details are properly communicated for a smooth construction process. Our services include:

Permit Drawings (PD)

PHASE 4 -Permit Drawings  (PD)-

Depending on the project’s complexity, both an architect and an engineer may need to sign off on these drawings.

At this stage, we refine the design from the previous phase to a more detailed level.

  • Collaborate with you to select colors, fixtures, and equipment, and review any design inspiration you’ve gathered
  • Develop elevations, sections, and fine-tune the design, construction system, materials, dimensions, and components
  • Review the design and consult with local and statutory authorities to ensure compliance, if applicable 
  • Incorporate all services and consult with electrical, mechanical, and structural engineers, as necessary

This phase ensures that the design is fully developed, compliant, and aligned with your vision and regulatory requirements. Once you provide your approval, we can confidently proceed to the next steps, including permit and construction documentation.

SCHEMATIC DESIGN (SD)

PHASE 2 – SCHEMATIC DESIGN (SD) – Initial Design Concepts
At this stage, we are fully equipped to translate your goals and priorities into a design that aligns with your budget.

  • Develop design options and evaluate the pros and cons of each
  • Create a basic site plan to position the building on your property, with floor plan options developed
  • Present 3D renderings and/or sketches, if previously discussed
